Well the STi motor was designed for 98RON fuel and will detonate if run on American fuel without a tune.
Found the original sale thread. 95 WRX wagon. which means 220BHP at 6k, revs out to 7500 ( i confuse the STi's peak horsepower rpm with redline as it's been a long time since i even thought about it.) had 45K kilometers on the clock +10k miles.
