These do not fit my car and I can't remember where I bought them from! So for sale.

Brand new. Fits lots of Subaru's, just not 06-07 WRX or any STI with Brembos.

$180 picked up in north St Paul.

PS...wrx's and STI's with Brembos do NOT take the same brake pads. I'm too lazy to google the part number, but those look like WRX pads.

06-07 wrx's share the same pads as the non-4pot/2pot brakes IIRC. I would just cross reference the PN on Hawk's website

I searched on Hawk's site, that PN calls out fitment for 05 and 06 WRX's which means it should fit all standard wrx brakes and all 4/2 pot brakes.

Well then HAWK, STOPTECH, and quite a few other pad manufacturers are wrong.

I'll upload a pic of 4pot pads, it will be very clear the difference. I'll also do some checking on these to see if they are possibly boxed wrong.

Here are the pads I should have bought. These fit 4pot calipers, which come on 06-07 WRX (not TR, not sure about limited - only the ones with the red calipers)

And, AND, make sure and notice they say these fit the 2004-2007 STI - which we ALLLLL know have Brembos. What about Brembos you ask? Well, for one, they are BIGGER. The manufacturer needs to get with their marketing department and get their info straight.

So, just so we're all clear lol, these pads fit lots of Subaru's, just not 06-07 WRX or any STI with Brembos.

Looks like the TR's have 4pot/2pot too, so they won't fit them either. I would guess the Limited also has them then too.

OK, you'll love this. I called the VP of Marketing at Hawk, explained the issue and he verified I purchased the wrong pad for my year. He is emailing me, CC'ing the Customer Service Manager and they are going to swap the pads out for me, even though I did not buy directly from them. He also said, they are in the process of updating their database and the misinformation should be fixed soon.

Now I like Hawk for more than their stopping power!

Oh, and, the pads are no longer for sale lol.

06-07wrx (the 4pot/2pot) uses their own pads vs 03-05/08+

if they haven't updated their systems, look for nissan 300z pads for the 06-07wrx

Good Customer Service is a solid stance for winning customers over. Thanks for the clarification. I have cross referenced my 06 FXT brakes with the 06-07 wrx on many different websites and they always say the front pads and rotors are the same.

Agreed, and this is outstanding customer service! The email I received less than 2 hours after calling -

    Jarrod,

Please put in a no cost order for John for a set of HB700G.661. He received the wrong pads due to our website being incorrect.
Please ship these Overnight UPS RED.

John – I apologize for the mistake. I did look up our most recent app guide and found that it has the correct part listed so the next website update should take care of this issue. Please inform Jarrod of your address.

    Thanks again,

    Jon Allen
