Equal length headers = kind of sounds like a Porsche!

I hate to be "that guy" but I don't see what Subaru nailed here? They beat out a FWD focus in a driving test. They said the interior sucked and was cheap. I would expect it to drive better than a Focus

I cringed because I can only imagine what those front bumpers looked like after.

    Otherwise, very fun!

Interesting, from everything I have read/watched the Fiesta ST > Focus ST. I wonder how well they would do vs eachother taking into account the huge price difference.

Yeah I have heard that as well and I want to test drive one.
The fiesta is tiny though. I am all for quick and light but it is a micro-machine.

I am a fan of the tiny car. I hope to make the WRX my DD and have a micro-machine as my project/garage car.

I normally would tend to agree as well, but the Focus ST has been getting pretty good reviews across the board...even Top Gear. It may not be the perfect comparison, but if not the ST, then what would you compare the WRX to?

After watching this review, I'm still not completely convinced that all of the understeer, poor turn-in, other handling issues, etc are resolved in the 2015 WRX. However it did put down good test numbers in comparison to the ST.

I'll be more interested to see the comparison between the 2015 STI and EVO.

What video did you watch? Misinterpret much? Before the comparo the guy had a huge hard on for the Ford. I could care less about interior opinions, every other comparison always has the Focus winning over any vehicle its compared to. The new WRX drives and handles better, thats all that matters, not faux luxury. I am all for that ST getting dethroned as the best performance affordable car. That's what they nailed...

Eh, I wouldn't say they nailed it either. Both are nice cars in there own right though.

My old man drives an ST. Pretty slick little machine. I kinda like its interior as is.

You said it! I actually sounds like a "Jet Car" flying through!

All in all, I like it. That's it though... I "like" it.

I think people like driving the Fiesta more but the only the power to weight ratio of the Focus ST is comparable to the WRX.

Good lord...a Honeywell turbocharger? What are all the Honeywell-made oil filter haters gonna do?

"It's almost like they're different classes of car, for the same money."

...because they are. They share a similarly sized engine, but that's about it. Apples to oranges if you ask me. At least the Subie got more air time :D
