On March 3rd the new Nintendo system is coming out and I've got an extra one for sale. It comes with the new Zelda game too. Both these are yours for the low low price of $500. I'll even bring it to you (within reason) as soon as it's released. Let me know what you guys think.
When the console was announced, I was excited. When the games were announced, I decided I could spend $300 elsewhere.
People still get excited about this $h!t in this day and age? 2000 called and they want their PlayStation 2 back.
As soon as I get around to it, I'm going to build a Raspberry Pi gaming emulator that will be capable of playing basically any gaming ROM available from any system. All for under $100. Suck it, Nintendo!
Wife scored us a classic for Christmas. I've seen that people are already haxoring them and think it'd be so much better with a few more of the games I actually played back then.
ftfy. Even with a rpi3, case, heat sinks, and controllers, the one I built my sister was closer to 50. Using a $5 pi zero really brings down the cost.
Nice! The RP3 I was looking at was $40 on Amazon. Need a controller too still which are around $15 depending on which one ya get. I already have the case, heat sink, PS already, memory card. That project kind of fell on the back burner, but would be cool to put one together eventually.
A Pi 3 can also be made to fit so you have the extra processing power, but you have to de-solder the USB stacks and Ethernet and re-solder new leads to the mainboard.
If you guys don't want to purchase it then don't respond. New lower price of $495 plus a $5 delivery fee.
Oh, THIS is going to go over well... Remember, OP, you said in your first post "let me know what you guys think".
This has Xbox 360 release written all over it. I'll wait a few months until target is putting them on sale for $280 with a free game
Pretty good walkthrough here. I really need to do this soon. https://howchoo.com/g/n2qyzdk5zdm/build-your-own-raspberry-pi-retro-gaming-rig
Why does anyone post anything in the FS section? To make a buck. All the presales are sold out and stores won't stock any not on the presale list. If you are in dire need of this console and game, then you might be willing to purchase it at a higher price. If not, that's cool too. Just please refrain from calling a business man a "creature".
Said "business man" strolled his happy ass into a well established community with an attempted highway robbery. Fix your price or take that **** to Craigslist.
Navar Hren, if you don't like my post then you don't have to look at it. God, don't be so easily offended. Take your tampon out.
Is anyone ever in "dire need" of a gaming console???? The younger generation has some confusion of the definition of "need" and "want". A fool and his money are soon parted. Good luck fool hunting. We seem to be a little thin on them in these parts.
I don't like it but like a terrifying train wreck or a jiggly phat a**, I just can't help but watch... and maybe make things worse. The tampon is keeping the bloody nose, started by a rather swift palm to the face, from running down my nice new shirt.
$250, delivered... not my problem you bought too many and are trying to price gouge. Viva La Free Market!
I think you're a scam artist and a hack. I think you're a dumbass who is gambling that someone else in the community will be dumb enough to pay your exorbitant price for a system that will be widely available. I think you're dreaming of you think someone here will fall for your bull****. I think you're an asshole for trying to call people out that are pointing out the fact that you're being a jackass. I think your butthurt has just begun to flow. And I think you're pretty damn lucky Readymix hasn't showed up yet. Bitch.
Jesus, this is going off the rails in a spectacular fashion. OP, here's advice about salesmanship: Delivery Everyone here knows what you're doing, and it's understandable. Back when it launched, I flipped an XBox 360 for a small profit on eBay. However, those consoles didn't have a pre-order option so to get one you needed to wait in a line overnight and sleep on the sidewalk of a Best Buy in November to collect one. The profit I made was payment for pulling an all-nighter in the cold and acquiring it for someone with more money than time, since I had more time than money then. Even still, I didn't list it with a description that it was a low price. The buyers knew it was above retail, as did I. It seems petty, but small comments like "low-low price" on something listed drastically over retail presents you as a grifter rather than an honest businessman. Second point: Know your market As pointed out, this is a pretty tight-knit community. While it might seem like everyone is being an asshole about this, it stems from a very strong sense of protecting a community of friends that want to keep the bonds here tight. We look out for and help each other both online and in real life. It's the reason some of the most vocal members here don't even own Subarus but keep coming back. Some of my best friends I met through this site, and after my Subaru is gone I'll still be on here. So with that said, I'm going to refer you back to point one before proceeding with this: You don't seem to participate in this tight-knit community except to make a buck. You've got 18 posts in 3 years, all to sell stuff here. I'm not sure if we've met in real life, and based on your online persona here I'd doubt you've been to many if any meets to become part of the community. It's like a door-to-door salesman showing up at a house party and getting pissed off when no one wants what you're selling. You showed up to the wrong place at the wrong time. Unless your pitch is abso-****ing-lutely amazing, people will show you the door. Your pitch wasn't. Ebay and Craigslist are better places for this, because they aren't really communities. They're marketplaces where this kind of thing is expected. I'm not saying you should leave, in fact far from it. And using this site just to sell stuff isn't a bad thing either. My criticisms aren't to alienate you or knock you down, I'm just trying to help you understand why things might have fallen down this hole. We're all protecting each other, and you can be part of that community. But so far, you aren't putting in the efforts, so don't expect the benefits.
