i'll be getting a wii. i missed out on pre-orders and i have no ambitions of waiting in line. so i might be waiting awhile to get one. i'll wait until the ps3 drops in price i think. $600 is a lotta hooch.
The Wii should be an easy find...They are going to MASS produce this sytem...I'm sure u can get one before christmas. However the games and accessories will be limited...It is good to pre-order the accessories and games before the Wii comes out.
before xmas = yes on launch day = probably not me i believe it was 4-6 million units worldwide by the years end, so i'm not too worried about getting one. the virtual console thing is appealing. nes ice hockey anyone?
The tennis game seems cool...*unique* I hope it is better than those plug n play virtual out of the box u find at target/toysrus for $24.99
My roommate and I are going to get one launch day. It's going to be awesome for after bar activities. However, idk.... first player it might look a little weird when you are swinging your arms around and no one else is there.:hsugh:
^ lol. I think there should be no problem finding onebfore x-mas. the last number i saw was 4 million by the end of the year. i am not sure what the initial release will be. it looks like the wii will have better release games then the ps3. and ZELDA!
gamestop and ebgames are having an online wii package preorder for $699 sometime tomorrow. i think i'll skip on that too.
I'll buy one just so I can woop some ass in Bond Golden Eye again(hopefully). Funnest FPS ever amongst freinds. The Nintendo is definately the superior console when gaming among freinds pre and post bar. PS and Xbox can't even compaire to the multi-player ability of Nintendo games.
Looks like it won't be as hard as I thought to get a wii... allcoation numbers for target: http://wickedsick.org/wii_finder/index.php?str=90601
wow....that thing says I got 81 next to me down here in chicago. Kinda makes me wanna try and get one and zelda
Apperantly it as pretty dang hard to get too! my friend went to target in medina at 7:30 and they had already handed out tickets to the first 28 people. hmm...
My roommate waited outside all last night while I was at the bar... they apparently close walmarts here on sunday and they dont reopen till noon. Anways, it's in the living room... it's interesting. Apparently it was pretty hard to get he said walmart had 29 and about 200 people showed up to get one.
Oakdale Target had 72. I was 71st inline and got there 10 minutes before opening. Right after I got there about 20 more people showed up. It's pretty fun and real easy to get used to (only played Wii Sports so far).
