i have a rather technical question. you always (well in teh summer) see jeeps drving around with no doors on. what allows them to do this legally? is it becuase the door offer little to no structural support? would it be legal to do this in a subie? (for the sake of argument forget about the affects of getting in an accident) what is the law regarding this? i think it has to do with the amount of structural intergrity provided byt he door. i am not sure though.
I've done some research on this, and here's what I've come up with. you have it more or less correct. Wranglers were designed without the doors on. They also have very high rockers, which, in theory, makes it harder to fall out  long story short: you need something sturdy there. you could be like Jibs from nevada..... Tube Doors!!!
nope, those tube doors are mounted to the factory hinges/latch. they open like real doors, but allow the visibility (of your wheels, important when offroading) and ventilation of no doors. and, they can be unbolted and replaced with the real doors if one would want to. btw, it's Hazzard
oh yea....you need at least 2 rear view mirrors to be legal in MN. one of which has to be on the drivers side
yea, but keep in mind, it's kinda hard to lock your doors to protect all your fancy-schmancy gauges/deck/speakers/amp if you don't have any doors
