I will not miss it. If I was forced to buy a Legacy tomorrow (I have a 2005 GT), I would get a 3.6R and be glad to get rid of the turbo lag and the waiting for the cheap ass turbo to self destruct.

What turbo lag? If you were forced to buy a Legacy GT tomorrow it would have a turbo mounted directly under the exhaust manifold with equal length headers and you'd be hitting full boost by 2700.

You do know that the 3.6R is slower than the 2.5GTs of the same generation, right? So instead of waiting for boost lag, you're waiting for the speed that never comes. You also get that poorer fuel economy..

Boy, the 3.6R just keeps sounding better and better every minute.

I said if I had to buy a Legacy tomorrow, not a Legacy GT.

    Ok.

I think you missed the point. Your reasons for preferring a 3.6 over a GT no longer apply after MY2010.
