No STI for you!

We're going electric next time we see that badge apparently. So GT will be top trim as I suspected.

People who snagged the last gen STI Type RA or S209 are gunna be happy I be values take off for the last real STI's.

 

The Type-RA FB group I'm part of is full of regretters who over the last year took advantage of price spiking due to Covid and sold their RAs. If at some point they offer the GT with a manual it would be interesting.

 

I dunno, with those unpainted plastic fender flares they are just so fugly.

And is the GT only offered in the boring grey or ugly orange? It is hard to tell from the website.

 

GT will be offered in all colors (as far as I know). Really sh*ty they didn't at the very least celebrate with some "final edition" version or something. Just...dead. They had a bunch of special editions recently, but they missed the boat by not doing some last set.

 

It's what makes Subaru, Subaru.

 

Maybe there will be some special WRX edition with Brembos, BBS, 325hp, and a big wing.

 

Nah. They want to sell an electric STI. It'll be 200 hp, cvt and come only in blumpkin metallic brown.

 

I don't regret selling mine. Got a decent price for trade in on my RS3. BUT, looks like people are taking advantage on the S209 market. Saw prices in the $115k range online. Type RA can still be had for normal money though.
