it could just be your brakes squeaking. does the sound change with speed or braking, or turning?

bearing? brake pad squeek?? check thickness left on pad could be the indicators squeeking... its called the idiots warning to say "hey look at me - I need new pads".... ha ha ha

could be a number of things... but check the pad level first because wheel bearings usually make a whirrring type noise first... my vote - you NEED new pads..

hey, not always idiot warning tho either, my pads are still like new, but they squeek and squeel like no ones business! but yeah, probably pads, not the right sound for wheel bearings. do the brakes pulse at all or are the rotors still good and gravy?

sounds like a wheel bearing, they'll go out pretty quick if you're on the brakes hard and it'll transfer the heat from the rotor hats to the knuckle's bearings.

from what i have gather wheel bearings make a howling sound, which is very distinct. if it is just a squeak it could be 100+ things. i would put wheel bearing at the end of the list. it could just be some dust/dirt in the pads that will work it self out.

Yes the sound does sometimes change when im driving at different speed, usually at lower speed 20-40 mph and sometimes makes a rubbing or grinding noise when im turning usually when I make right turns. I have on Stock STI BBS rims with all season Michellin Pilot Alpin tires.
