I have an 02 WRX with no power mods and prodrive springs, prodrive wheels. I have had the wheels for a month or so, and the springs for a year and a half, so lets rule those out. I had brake work done a few months ago, and then started to hear noise, that was resolved by turning the rotors. Well now I have a nice squeek sound when turning, any where from slightly turning to fully locked, does not change. Does change with speed though. mostly noticable to me (the Driver) when turning right. Had a friend listen and it is there when I turn left as well. I also hear a clunk/ click when I apply brake after not using them for a bit are so, I touch the break and hear a cluck/ click. I am not sure if they are related. (The squeek and cluck/ click) Noticed the squeeking tonight, CV boot is intackt, no signs of rubbing. I noticed the cluck/ click a week or so ago. Breaking still works great! What do you guys think?
stop beating on your brakes.... ha ha ha there is only so many tiems I can pull them off and turn them... other than that I dont know?!?!
