Noise

I was wondering if anybody else has this problem. When i go anywhere from 100-115 there is a really loud humming noise coming from the the rear of the car sound like the passenger side. I called subaru BP and they wont even look at because its a high speed and they wont let techs go that fast. And get this they told me * ]the car wasnt meant to go that fast*. It almost sounds like speaker interfearence, but as soon as i let off the gas it stops.

 

I would have replied "Well, then why the hell does the speedometer go up to 140?" What year is your car? Put any mods on it?

 

There's an easy fix for this --- slow down, jackass.

05 STi

My car is a 05 Sti. The speedomeder goes up to 160. I have been reading these posts for a about a week until my sign was approved and i have noticed there some really rude people on here that like to put other people down, i was wondering if everybody was like that or just a few.

This site has sooooo much info to offer from real people just like you. you will see many light hearted jabs like the one above but don't take anything too personal. sometimes things may seem a bit heated but such is life. Oh there is a lot of bashing going on here, don't doubt it, 90% of it is friendly and keeps it lively, the other 10% is probably deserved, when people do stupid things and don't want to admit to it or blame someone else.

 

Does anybody know what all season tires are good for winter, I know snow tires are alot better but they are mostly out of my price range. Unless someone knows of some for 80-100 a piece?
