My 95 Ford F150 got a few problems and I dont quite know what to do. First thing, the speedometer increase unsteadily. The needle shakes alot when acellerating, even at steady speed it shake still. Second, the steering wheel is straight but is not sensitive when you turn it slightly to left or right. The truck still goes straight. Not good for fast driving as the truck can pull left/right under hard braking and have no solid controll of the steering. Third, anybody knows anyplace where they fix Lift Gates for Pick-ups?. I gota Tommy Lift Gate installed on my truck, and its not working. Thanks guys,
#1 the speedo cable sounds like it needs to be lubed #2 sounds like worn out suspension, also get an alignment #3 call the place that installed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #4 why oh why did you post this is subaru modifications/maint
My 96 E 150...speedo does the same thing once it hits 70mph. I just live with it, even after lubing it. The steering sensitivity just isnt there on these vehicles. I have replaced front springs, upper/lower ball joints and had alignment and there is still play. Now if yours is pulling hard to one direction under braking, thats another matter...alignment.
I could change the Ford Logo to the Subaru Logo since they're both oval shape...hahaha Subaru F150, hey, its still 4x4 too.... haha, will that qualify me.....
