    well to start off, welcome!

as for your subie you will soon find that subie are built like legos. so most parts are interchangeable to some degree.

For engine management you are looking at a greddy emanage, or a perfect power SMT6. these are not chips, they are wire in piggy back units. they will allow you to tune the car for maximum power.

Intakes: pretty universal. do your research on whatever brands you want i have heard some bad stories about some brands. look towards Cobb for safe, mods.

intake Manifold: you will prolly not need to swap this. I have heard the 06 intake manifold can flow more air, but i doubt you will need that yet. look at ZZYZX / Tech Works Engineering and their 300HP NA RS, to see the intake manifold idea.

Ignition: This wouls be controled by the Engine management unit, ot a big deal. if you go turbo you will want 1 step colder plugs. I have heard that the stocker NGKs are the way to go however.

Exhuast: basically anything for the body style will work. many people on here have had custom stuff made my WRXBoy2003 and love it. I can atest to that personally.

Turbo: you can get aftermarket kits to turbocharge the car and gain some nice power.

Swap: if you want alot of power, with the option for more this is for you, it isnt cheap however. basically any subaru motor can be put into any other subaru so you have alot of options for this.

as for the tranny, you are bound to be slow. I have a automatic in my 2.2l impreza and the transmission eats up alot of potential power.

You would love the FXT engine, but I think your dad would disown you once he finds out that you have his engine in your car. That 2.5L engine is suhweet!

If you want more response out of your engine, you could invest in a lightweight pulley, properly made intake for your MAF vehicle, custom exhaust that Nathan (WRXBoy2003) can fab up for you, and probably engine/tranny mounts.

I would love for some solid mounts to come out for my tranny and engine...a package would be awsome cause I know the tranny doesn't sit still with the type of power I have right now so I can only imagine what itll be like after this winter
