ok...i have stage 2 wrx running on xpt stage2 map...

now, after installing a prosport elect boost gauge alone...it was showing i was hitting between 16-17(almost 18)lbs....which is normal from my past logs...

and then after installing a prosport elect egt gauge, i'm not even able to hit past 15lbs (according to the boost gauge)

when installing the egt...i had to tapped into the mani...i'm pretty sure this wont even bother boost...i've checked for boost leaks everywhere...

could it be just that my boost gauge is shot already..??...i've just got it for like a week...

Run a log, see how accurate it is.

Well, you could have a pre-turbo leak since you HOPEFULLY removed the manifold before you drilled and tapped the hole. If you drilled and tapped the mani on the car, you could have damaged the turbo with the metal shavings. But still pull a log.

i did pull a log and everything seems normal(compared to my other logs)...and yes..i took the mani off the car when drilled...would it be that the boost gauge needs a break in period to work accurately..??...(just a thought)
