    If only I had a 12' ceiling in the garage instead of 8'.

    ever installed one?? wanna take the risk of not doing it right with a vehicle tipping it over?? ha ha

    I have helped install one. A Bend-pak. Not sure the model. But the hydrolic hose and lift cables went under a plate between the posts that the car drove over. Easy enough to install. Heavy though!

    It's not that big of a deal, you tip the main posts upright, drill 6 holes about 4" deep into the concrete, then install the self-anchoring bolts. The rest is hooking up cables and power. I did it myself, not too tough. $800 is a hell of a deal for one, I'd never go back to jackstands if I can help it.

    Hell, I'll install it for $500 if you've got the 220V ready to drop.

    I realise they are easy enough to install.. been around when they installed my current one, and the 6 others in my old business... 1 guy did it by himself ....


    just saying... a lot of guys on here dont even know how to change their oil.. yet alone install a lift... and 4in bolt depth would be the minimum for a 2 post lift of 9000k or more.. 6 in is recommended... 4 post is different

    because the guys who can't change their own oil would be buying a car lift :laugh:

    kinda like guys who cant really drive, buy porsches?? or guys who buy a fast turbo car and remove the turbo... I know sometimes things just dont add up.. ha ha ha :biggrin:
