    omfgsticker.

you wouldn't have to plot a roof, just lay it & trim it.

yeah, what type of plotter and size.

How thick does it cut? Could you do autox numbers (magnets)?

Usually you just do a number plate, or hand cut the numbers after laying the vinyl on the magnetic material.

You can get a magnet material that's thinner and can be run through a Gerber Edge I, II, or FX machine that can cut custom shapes for magnets...

We usually just cut square, or rectangle sized magnets and then apply cut vinyl to it or a apply a print and "wrap" the magnet...

^ yeah, that's how we'd do it as well. Though having the ability to cut custom shapes for magnets would be nice ... oh wait, we have that! Just need a different blade for the cutter. It struggles with reflective, but that's just the blade's fault.

I'd like a better program than signblazer pro

Don't need a different blade... just use it to score the material and break apart.

I've been doing this stuff for so many years...and ive never had a job that requested odd shaped magnets... lol

Yeah, I was gonna say, the magnet material is pretty brittle at 90* bends to begin with, you score a line in it and it should snap right off. A few minutes in the freezer makes it super easy.

Search Scarecrow's posts. This isn't a new thing. He posts up a thread, then doesn't come back for days, even weeks.

skarecrow i have some advice for you:

if someone asks you to do a project that involves the Subaru stars, especially small versions of them ... just walk away. It is very time consuming to weed them properly.

I'm a busy guy, I lurk the best I can. I have my hand in the Irish fair, and custom paint. paying attention to "forums" while that event is on is non-existent. I also do my best to extinguish non-purpose filled posts. :) While this is my favorite forum to pop in at since it hits close to home... I do have a ton of others that I keep an eye on as well.

I'm heading to the shop in an hour and I will grab all the important stuff I can. How big, how deep, and how pretty :)

zombie - spot on man. thank you.

aegis - are you talking multiple sticker types? there will be no large runs at the shop unless its high dollar.... we only got the machine to assist with the custom paint work and a few other little things.
