Ran at BIR this last weekend at the MAP event. Low traps because I didn't shift into 5th gear. I just rode out 4th past the line.

I also thought it kind of off. My wrx will run around a 14 flat stock. Seems kinda slow for a tuned STI. No offense

wow. It has so much more potential. Can't wait to see him get a good exhaust system and run some more 1/4 mile times.

did you upgrade your exhaust yet? seems kinda pointless to spend the money at BIR to maybe pick up a couple tenths with the same set-up. I doubt you will gain tons of time buy changing shifting points. just my .02

Never said it was a waste of time, but going back to the track without any upgrades from your last set up? You gotta know that your stock exhaust is hurting more than helping. I know its fun, I used to drag an old heavy muscle car years ago. But I always liked to come back to the strip with another "go faster" part installed. That's was the real fun is to see what you did to the car to make it faster.

Definately pick up an exhaust. I was running 12.7 with my STI on pump gas when it was stage 2. E85 should put you below that for sure.

You can prolly find something for cheap in the for sale forums...3" catless is all you need.
