Just trying to guage interest on my little sisters car. I helped her find it last fall, but she leaves for college in Germany in about a month, and has asked me if I would sell it for her. (One less thing to be stressed about as she packs up and leaves for the next few years). Its a Red, 1996 OBS 2.2l 5MT. Its completely stock (except for a nice cd player head unit) and is in phenomenal shape. The P/O was rediculous. He bought it new when he turned 30. He had it in to White Bear subaru for EVERYTHING in the manuals maintenance list over the life of the vehicle, including the 100,000/10 year airbag checkup :laugh: (no, really, he did bring it in for that.) Its at around 120k, that might change by 500 mi in the next month. She really doesnt drive it very much. It was looked over at a shop before she purchased it a few months ago, and it passed with flying colors. She has kept up on preventative maintenance, regular oil changes, cleaning it regularly, etc. If anybody is looking for something like this in the future, let me know and I'll keep you in mind when she turns the car over to me for the sale. We chatted today and came to an agreement she would like to place her asking price at $3900. I would buy this thing off of her if I wasnt leaving for the Corps in a little over 2 months.

Yeah, the car is a great deal. Like I said, if I wasnt leaving, I would buy this from her. Its an awesome car. My sister is crazy. She's completly fluent in German, owns a subaru, and is morally sound, which has saved me having to bail her out of all the stuff my older sister did for me as a kid. :laugh: *noted.

I do not. She'll have the car until it is turned over to me for sale. I will give her a call soon however, and try to grab the VIN.S I dont have any pictures of the car at this moment. Again, I'll have those up as soon as she turn the car over to me.
sounds like an even trade off. lol, just out of curiousity, what part of germany is she going to? i ask caus i JUST got back from my return trip.
