Official Duluth 2007 Fall Trip Thread.

Well, because I'm eager for this to happen again, as I'm sure a few others are, I figured I'd post it up.

Date: We will likely be doing this October 20-21st
Time: Depart the cities usually around 9am

This tip was good times the past two times we did it. The day starts with a caravan up to Duluth, usually catching up with the Duluth Crew at Chux's place. From there we go as a group to pick up a quick lunch and then check into the hotel.

The hotel we use is the Barker's Island Inn in Superior, WI. It has a pool and good rates. And lots of parking

At night on Saturday, last year, we hit up Grizzlies for dinner as a group. Everybody packs in for drinks and dinner. Afterwards we retire back to the hotel for severe alcohol abuse and social time.

Sunday starts with breakfast and then some spirited driving through some of the great backroads around Duluth.

It's still 3 months till the event, but we can start getting a show of hands. Justin will chime in soon and let us know what the going rate for rooms is. He has a hookup there that can get us discounted rates. Last year it was around 80 bucks, and people shared rooms. So figure hotel, and food and gas for this trip.

 

Just post in this thread humpstain. And yes, the weekend before would coincide with last years. I messed up the date.
