Official PHO event thread!!! NEW PLANS....yet to come

i wish i still lived in minnesota. quang's is a good place for pho. i like their sandwiches the best tho.

 

let's make this more formal... well, at least the planning since you guys couldn't make it for pho last time... set a date and a time for pho. i know justin won't be going, eventhough he owes me lunch! hehe. what'll it be? i think lue wants to go to trieu chao, or something... quangs is good for pho, but saigon has better pho.

 

we should all compete some jumbo from saigon. i'll give it til the end of the day, to see how many people are interested. then i'll plan the date/time.

 

Sounds good Lou... we should have a Pho Day, Pho Sho. Those who aren't into Pho... you're more then welcome to order something else from the menu... and if that something else doesn't appease your stomach. Bring your own Cheeseburger and Fries or whatever... we'll still let you hang out with us

 

1+ White rabbit, They were nominated the best PHO Rice noodle soup in town last year, don't know about this year yO. Try them out to believe it.

I think its a kind of soup, pretty tasty.

pho is a noodle soup made with rice noodles that composes of beef broth, beef, meetballs etc...

Pho is made of rice noodle and bathe in hot clear beef/chicken/pork broth. You can have your Pho made with beef, chicken, pork, seafood or all of them. The combination of meat can vary anywhere from an assortment of beef cut to tripe, brisket, tendon etc... For those with hot dogs and cheeseburger in mind... you're more then welcome to bring your own PB&J and join us.

I've taken a few of the none Asian folks out to enjoy some authentic Asian cuisine and they've enjoyed it. I don't expect them to like it... I just expect them to give it a shot, if you don't like it... hey, at least you tried it and didn't die from it. If you do... oh well... more food for me.

Pho is after all... just a bowl of rice noodle soup bathe in mostly clear and sometimes darker broth made from beef, chicken or pork. It will come with your choice of meat. What you make it with is not important, after all, Pho will still remain what it was before; rice noodle soup in beef broth.

If you'd like to try it out... give me a shout out. I'll be more then willing to take you out to lunch or dinner for a bowl of Pho.

Since we were speaking off Pho I was craving for it.

yO funny as hell, I just pointed out what's the term PHO is.
Kinda part of my language....Germanese yO. I didn't mention invintation (which is kinda a good Idea). Since lue brought it up, he is the one take us all out... and plus the 50 bones he owes me.

non asian person being me, and i liked it. as for me saying it might have been rabbit i was kidding. However, there is some really weird stuff like pig skin or intestine noodles. i think i'd prefer rabbit over the pig skin noodles in my opinion.
