Well, I don't know about you all, but there is about an inch of snow on the ground here in the Grove, and an expected 3-5 inches tonight and possibly 1-3 tomorrow. Depending on how it goes, I might be interested in heading downtown for some donuts.
Oh how I love the snow. I live by a huge bunch of office parks that are completely empty at night... perfect for getting sideways.
One inch in Saint Paul. Where are these lots you speak of?! I need to find me some...ahh the downfalls of living in the cities.

I just got back from slow motion drifting since my last post. haha Nice big lamppost-free lot not a block away from my apartment. Didn't leave a minute too early, either. Cop pulled in the lot as I was driving around one last time admiring my handiwork.... haha
That was the citizen's bank lot, after that went to pick up a friend in EP and hit all the high school lots too.
care to explain...? i may consider never leaving my house if i lived around a mine field...but i dont like putting myself in situations where i could get ****ed
In my experience, most cops don't care if you're just messin around in an empty parking lot. They'll just tell you to go home because it's private property.
heh...every experience ive ever had with a cop has ended up nothing like that... i must be a target for the crabby cops

thats what im sayin...im all for gettin a lil (or a lot) sideways on corners where if i got caught, i could play it off like i didnt know how to drive...but in an empty parking lot, youve got no excuse
It is totally worth it.... just do a few loops and leave and go to another one. Don't stay there all night.
You think they have better things to do in Duluth? they have way less real work to do up here. Very little crime.
Ive been drifting across parking lots ever since I was driving a flat-bed toyota pick-up...never been hasseled by a cop during...you just can't be doing it across the mall/bar parking lots cause thats where all the cops are alresdy hangin' out...
Had some fun in a lot in eagan after hockey...as I realized that I had enough, and was pulling out of the lot, a cop rolled by. I think he went to check on my handy work...but that was the last I saw of him. It's all fun, but probably not worth a ticket...eh, yeah, it was worth it.

to anyone that is complaining about it being stupid and all can go *******(just kidding, i sensor that myself ). go find a parkinglot and do some donuts, then come back to us! done it countless times and is well worth it! still haven't gotten a ticket yet though...*knock on wood*
just got back from doing laps in t3h lotz. the key is to keep moving. (duh, don't stay in teh same lot. duh)
Went out and had some fun in the grace baptisit churches ginormous spare lot in ep. You gotta give to those baptists they know how to make a parking lot.

I got caught one time playing in a parking lot, cop asked me what I was doing, I said I'm playing in the snow and learning how to handle my car better so I am a safer driver. this was out in my street, looks like we got more snow than all you guys. all the snow was from playing, before i played the car had been sitting in the garage all night
all of this until theres a thread about someone bitching cus they hit a curb in the lot and ****ed up their suspension...then you will all be sorry for him and act like it shouldnt have happened...
i will never be sorry for someone hitting curb while messing around in the snow. its all part of the game man. gotta pay to play
