Looks like Subaru made an offset clutch reservior to specifically fit under the air-water intercooler they sold in other countries. Its a direct replacement for the one that came on U.S. Legacys and moves the cap out from under the intercooler so you can check and refill the reservior. I believe I read that late '90s U.S. Legacys may have had them as well. This would really help my air-water intercooler install on the Legacy this winter. Any have one or know of someone that might have one? Here is a pic of what it looks like.
You just need a us one from a car that had an intercooler, I got a clutch master from a Wrx for my legacy on nasioc for less than 30 shipped.
you have to replace the whole master, though, yes? still might be easier than tracking down that jdm reservoir
