Action shots came out t3h suck, so you wont be seeing them. I'll have to bring the Nikon down to the playland next time since it seems to handle far field low light images better than my little digi-cam.

Pete, forewarning, you need to bring your video camera. And Justin, you need to bring your t0w rope. Anyone with a disc sled, please speak up and let us know if you can bring it. Also, if anyone knows where to get those reindeer antlers you wear on your head with the little hair band thing, please let me know where I can find them and buy them.
I looked at Target, they don't have any. Neither does PetSmart which I figured would have them so you can make your dog look like a reindeer. I need to find a party store.

The weather channel saying that we'll get snow 3 days in a row probably means that we'll get snow one day only. It is f4ct.

Safety is paramount. There will be a safety brief before any of the shenanigans happen. I don't want to have anyone getting hurt. I'm serious about this too, if you are too much of a tough guy to worry about safety, then you wont participate. Plain and simple. BTW, I have a disc sled now. So no worries there....lets have a look at the checklist: Disc Sled: X Tow Rope: Santa Hat: X Reindeer Antlers: Helmet: knee and elbow pads: *X* I have kneepads you can use, but we will need something for wrists or elbows. I am in the west burbs and I would be down for some fun tonight? KNow of any good lots this side of the tacks? I will also be there friday, I have missed everyone this year and I refuse to miss this friday. I will have my digi cam and possibly a video camera as well. I would be willing to pick up a snow disc and donate it to the club as well. I just should not be the one to hold onto it since I do not make it there enough. A die hard should hold it like, Dream, readymix, or justin, someone who makes it there more then me.
Jason: i have a tow strap, but its the kind for pulling out cars. its always in my trunk so if you wanna use it you can. i also have an old protec helm (says its not for auto purposes though lol) its kinda small so i dont know if it will work. i am up for tearing up some snow. it sounds like it wont be coming down tell post midnight huh? we might have to postpone the tearin upidness tell tommorow night then.
gotcha, anyway the 1200 thing was wong, there is about 1/4 - 1/2 inch here. it is plenty slick for messing round. if you guys are interested in doing something post it up or pm me. i dont know where a central location would be. i live in mound so maybe we could figure something out.
I'll volunteer to bring a helmet for those planning on riding the sled without antlers or a santa hat.
I'm planning on heading down this friday and I have a bunch of hockey equipment you (and anyone else) could use for the evening.
