Awsome event, is Tanner going to be there too? He's been alot busier since I met him last year, I have lots to catch up with the guy. I'll be stuck at work but, if he's there I'll find a way to be there. LOL
Sounds like a good reason to "work" from home for part of the day. I don't know if I will be able to make it, though
Hey Scott. I wish I could go, but I have to work until 6:30. :emo: I still want to make up to the rally some year. Justin W
This is going to be good. Why is it in two locations? Packing everything up would be a chore (unless you're the one driving the cars onto the trailers, downtown, with anti-lag on)
I am definitely in for the Tonka stuff. I heard a bit of something about maybe a shuttle bus back and forth from tonka to down town. Any truth to that rumor?? Russ
The same cars will be at both locations- there is no reason to go to both sites. If you are going to go to one or the other go to the Tonka location. There will be food, giveaways of Subaru stuff and more time to chat with the drivers and crew members. Why two locations? Lots of natural traffic (200,000 people work in the area) at the downtown site to introduce people to rally, the Tonka event is for the more hard core rally fan.
Any chance of the tonka event running a little later than scheduled? It's right on my way home from work and I would love to see some of these cars up close! Even if just a few stick around late I would stop by. Please say it has a chance of running past 4:30!
I plan on trying to hit up Minnetonka. I am in Milwaukee right now driving up tomorrow morning so whenever I get out of here is whenever I'm free. I still have to pack up the computer and a few odds and ends so chances are I won't be there in time for downtown. I live in Uptown, so not far from all the madness. I'm going to be on radio silence until Comcast comes to install my internet on Thursday so hit me up on my cell 617.686.1679 and let me know where y'all are at! here's what i look like too, so if you see this face wandering around with a lost puppy look on it, come say hi
hey now, the galant is awd turbo lol. don't really want to put that many miles on the rally tires over pavement tomorrow - may have to go home to switch vehicles before coming out (that's if i get out of work in time. been working 10 hour days so far this week)
What you guys going to call me a traitor too....I was going to drive the 240 out there hoping to hook up with mr. Tanner again for some more 101. Drifto! FTW!
She's new and will be making her first appearance tomorrow. If you play nice she may let you take a ride in her 08 STI but no promises.
erm, well, welcome to the internets? what is the etiquette for talking to your kind on this place? do we open internet doors for you? And since when do women have good taste in cars?
Ha ha  Thats funny! It makes sense though, When I raced MX alot of guys raced but there were a few girls and some were pretty good, So why not fast cars too.
flip it upside down So back to the Rally, I'm sure it posted somewhere here, does anyone have details about the show Kenny and Pastrana are throwing at the speedway in Bemidji tommorw night at 7pm?
I was there, showed up and spoke with Scott Putnam, he informed me of the bad news as to why there were soo many few cars this year. Those crazy rally drivers and the Extreme X-Games eliminated quite a few cars. Tanner Foust wasn't able to make it either, bummer! Thanks for putting this event together.
