Who can I talk to at BP Subaru about the SVX I just bought. I put 150 miles on it and I think it has issues and I need to know asap so I can do something about it. Going to run up on my lunch break with it.

Car surges when you let off the gas in drive and it has a howl in the rearend, other then that I love the way it rides.

The howl is almost for sure a wheel bearing, or cupped tire, svxs are notorious for wheel bearing failure...the surging however i have no idea...but you said you had a warranty, that should cover it

Well I dropped it off at Morries by work here in Mtka,

Have only bought parts from them before but I'm going to have them give the trans and rearend a look see. That way I wont look to stupid when I bring it back to them.

a lot of times when you get a howl when you back of the gas it will either be the diff or mostly the rear uni.... under load no noise so much but once pressure is off... hoooooowl

Naaa, this isn't something that a person would live with.

If it was my Dodge I would replace wheel bearing, so I guess it's the problem. Should know in a couple hours. Just wanted to make sure I knew what I was talking about before I went back to the guys. Nice to be an informed customer. :)

    Well so far,

Drivers side rear wheel bearing, power steering pump, muffler, and they want to dump trans fluid again and see whats in it.

Have to get the ok from where I bought it but I bet he will want to fix it himself when he see's what the bill will be for a pump.

from wha ti know the wheel bearing would make a similar howl noise, but i think it would be doing it if you were on or off the gas.

could be somethign w/ the rear diff. should ifn dout when teh fluides were changed last. mayeb you diffis missing some teeth or a gear or something.
