Did you happen to change out plugs and wires to new ones when you switched plants? Heat and humidity can make for a hard start or poor performance when your plugs and wires are going.

make sure you have the ground wire in back of the engine connected! check cam/crank sensors, a bad maf would do this also

You have a 2.5 ECU in there too right? To make sure it isn't the MAF sensor just unplug the MAF and see if the car will run in limp mode OK. I think the rev limiter is 3k or something like that in limp mode but you can drive it like this for a while if you need to use the car while you get a new MAF sensor for it. It wasn't a MY99 2.5 engine was it?

well..its not a ej25 ecu..just my stock ecu..yesterday i changed the cam sensor and crank sensor to my ej18 ones..and it didn't start..this morning i tried and to start it..and it STARTED!!! i was so happy...i ran it to work and back..with no problems..that is weird...i dont know what i did...but...it doesn't choke or nothing now...but..at least it runs..hopefully until i get some cash to change the plugs.

Plugs are cheap as hell. Just get four NGK copper plugs and drop them in. I think the model number is BKR6E-11. If you get the wires from the dealer make sure to get the wire set with all four in it, it cost something like $40. Plugs are only $2 each. Go get them all at Morrie's in BP and get the discount on them. I like to take off the stock airbox and the washer fluid reservoir in order to get easier access at the heads but otherwise changing plugs is pretty simple. Can't recall what the gap is on the stock EJ253 though...
