Some have seen it already......few know already.... so I guess I can't keep it a secret. The PICTURE speak for themselves!!!! Keep on building them GCs!!!!!! JDM yO!!!!
He's not just putting in another 5-speed. And he's getting bigger brakes, a new final drive, and a whole new driveline. That's fantastic Fuji. Make sure you do a full write-up on the PITA.
Nice. You finally got a man's tranny. FYI, the linkage must be on the 6mt when you lift it up there. It won't go on after the tranny is in the car. I learned the hard way.
Thanks for the tip. I've done two STi clutch jobs and it worked, but I'll do what you said! I thinks I'm oversupported for the power output. lolz but it's good to be safe than sorry! OH SO MUCH MORE WEIGHT!!!!!!
Pics of said niece. (assuming she's of age):yumyum: Just kidding, Fooj. Nice setup. I need a ride again to compare.
Oh ho sick. But Fuji you posted this everywhere! Mnsubaru, Nasioc, and even I hate to say it but Atown.LOL
I plan to get that OTHER one, Neetronics, but not anytime soon. Here's a mock up of the rear end. That bolt is SCARY!!! Had to cut the bolt that holds the trailing arm to the bottem of the knuckle.
lol, good luck fuji, we usually replace those when we do wheel bearings, since there is almost no way to save it
^ Its standard affair for shops to just order the bolt when they need to do a wheels bearing, or maybe even an axle. I've heard of one year old cars being a serious pain. Dammit Josh, there's TWO i's in Spiider. And damn, $500CAD for the neetronics controller? Thats a lot of scratch for that unit. Fuji if you want a ride in mine with Spiider's controller let me know.
it's the bottem one, the 17mm bolt. I had to pick up 2 new bushings with the lonG 19mm bolt just a while ago from Mntk.
