Meet in the same place as we did for the last rallyx. The large parking lot at 94 and weaver lake road. (just east of 94, south of weaver lake road). I think it was a JCPenny lot (can't get google maps to work right at my job, maybe someone else can put a link up - the one joel posted in the harvest moon caravan thread is correct, the one I posted is messed up lol) We will leave promptly at 8:30am. FRS radios on 8-0 1. Carl 2. Dave 3. Dan/Sara 4. Kyle 5. Mark 6. Russ 7. Nathan 8. Josh 9. Kelly?
Wow, smack talk spill over. I will be there. Unless someone wants to meet up someplace on the east side and carpool. Russ
If you want to ride with Sara and I your welcome to show up at our place in the morning. I'll be there for the caravan as well.
most definitely. Head up 169 to 694 to the weaver lake exit or take 494 to the weaver lake exit. If we didn't live in Anoka....that would add too much time....cutting into breakfast time...or sleepy time....
Yeah carl, you remembered my name correctly. Not surprised, or offended... I don't talk much at the RX, and thats all I see of you folks.
Considering how much the rest of us talk at RXs, its not surprising you can't get a word in edgewise Amy
It's not just at the RXs. Over 440 posts (so far!) in the smack talk thread and over 3,400 views . . .
yes I believe so.... couple of questions... regarding equipment... 1. I should have a helmet from my Motorcycle.. was bought in 01/02 so should be ok 2. Long sleeve Shirt??? 3. Gloves??? anything else...
Check your helmet to be sure it's snell 95. Wear what you want. Bring a FRS radio. It is required for everyone.
Yeah, you can buy DOT rated helmets, but those aren't acceptable to SCCA. They need to be Snell rated. And yes again on the FRS.
thanks guys.. I just am getting all my stuff together this afternoon as it is all down in Jordan (25 mins opposite direction) and have it all trailered up and ready to go tomorrow morning... so bringing my stock rims.. just in case.. ha ha actually will swap them over when we get there... what PSI should I throw in them.. I heard 40ish mentioned at FS a few weeks back...
Extra pair of shoes and socks, or a pair of waterproof boots to wear. Last time the grass was really wet in the morning.
another question.. is there accessible power?? making a list of crap to throw on the trailer to bring... heading out the door to go get it ready...
dont need it... but will have a charger for my battery impact etc... and if its cold a heater for my custom built tent stand.. ha ha guaranteed for some laughs...
CLARIFICATION TO DIRECTIONS!!! 217 AVE is not well marked but the turn is 1.6 miles North after the Co. Rd 33 overpass. There is also a big sign advertising dirt for sale at the turn off.
I will not be able to meet with you guys in the morning, but I will make a huge effort to show up in the afternoon to cheer you lad's on. I would of enjoyed this opportunity to participate, but I am stuck working, I am looking forward to coming out and hanging with the team.
I'll do my best to be there. It's really frickin' far for me and I'm still at work right now and I still have to change my oil, clean out my car, and make a battery tie down because mine disappeared during the building process. Oh, I also have to go get race gas and change my map
Sorry dude, I just checked the thread and it's a little too late. I didn't change my oil, but I pulled everything out of the car, I now have no more stereo . Oh well. But I couldn't find my battery tie down. So if anyone has one laying around, grab it. The battery is mega secure because you have to pretty much take off the intercooler piping to get the battery out. So I guess that could count as a tie down :ugh: See you guys tomorrow am!!! I just also realized I forgot to get a frs radio. Does anyone else have one I can borrow? please???
It's looking like we're going to have one quick downpour and then it will ease up for a bit, then we'll have a 2-3 hour rain and it should stop for a bit. But we'll see, I'm a meteorologist so I'm wrong like 70% of the time anyway
