Old turbo=New lamp

    A buddy had a picture of a lamp he had made out of an LS chevy cam on facebook last night, and it got the old gears turning in my head. 1.5 hrs and $15 (for the Walmart table lamp) later I have myself a new table lamp for the desk. what do you guys think?

    Very interesting. Points for doing something different. It would be cool to see it all one color... but that's just my taste.

    Like painted you mean? i was thinking of painting all the stuff below the turbo an aluminum color.

    Saw the cam light on the gm board. Definitely plan to do it with the cam I have sitting in the garage.

    I decided to build one as well, here's the start! Off of a Saab 900, minus the stripped bolt it's not bad. Not enough time to take it off completely today, but i'm going back in the morning to finish up!
