if you know your rotaries or a place to get them fix. go for it! It's a great car! but keep in mind that they are hard to maintain. a friend of mine's has a red 94 and he's always fixing it. heat soaking, soleniod(spl?) breaking, vacumn hoses(biggiest B ever) and other engine problems...

true , the hardest thing is finding someone who can work on them and know how to build a good engine... we have built engines too but I wouldnt myself to involved...

I had a 1st Gen (series2) with a 12a turbo.. the engine was built by a guy who helped with the 12hr racing ones and he rallied rotories... he knew his stuff... the engine had about 200whp everyday driver... and 6 yrs later it was STILL running and not missing a beat... a lot of it comes to maintenance and driver ability...

I am going to be doing a rotory in the next few yrs once my $$$$ is steady... but I will probably import an engine from australia... bolt in 600whp for about $3000 - $4000 US.... I want an older RX like a rx3 or R100 bu tthey are hard to find so a 1st Gen will be the project and one day I will get myself a 3rd Gen for fun... or maybe just the 3rd Gen if the price is right...
