    AHHHH!!!!!

I ordered a 1998 2.5RS front oxygen sensor from BP subaru like a week ago. They screwed up on it not asking for my VIN # so I thought they found the right one. Then I finally got it and it's not for my car, it had more than 3 wires and the plug part is HUGE. Then I had to send it back and then wait for the 2nd one. Now the 2nd one looks like the right one but then it isn't and I'm f'en sick of my car eating a lot of gas! I need to go out of town this weekend so I NEED IT!!!

The 1st one looks like it was for the 99-01RS and the 2nd one doesn't fit mine still.

The plug on my RS looks more like this. more like a triangle

while the 2nd one I got looks like a square with 3 wires in it.

    Ok, I'll bite. :)

What did the parts department say about it? Where they rational to you? Did they blow you off? Did you even get the discount?

apparently he did and he says it wasnt even much of a discount....i guess some people dont appreciate 20% off and would rather pay full price.

All I could say about BP is that they got me an Oxygen Sensor that worked the first time so I'm totaly satisfied with their service.

So was there anything that could have caused a misunderstanding about the part since there are two oxygen sensors on the NA RS? (front and rear)

I even mentioned the front oxygen sensor since that is the only one that is causing the car to eat fuel like crazy. F' it I'll just go to my local subaru dealership and buy one there.

I've been pretty happy with BP Subaru, got almost $2000 worth of work done so far from them.

Okay I've bought from BP Subaru a few times with no problem but that was when Brian was still working there. Should I just talk to Brett that works there?

I'm not hating on BP Subaru, just not liking it. I NEED THAT 02 SENSOR!!! >_<

Nobody can replace Mr. Shorten but Brett has been real helpful the few times I have gone back to bother him. he said my account is flagged so he remembers the discount.

Okay, Brett was a better guy. He got it correct right away. What the other guys sent me was a rear 02 sensor. >_<

But then I can't wait till monday to get it so I'm just going to send the one I have back and buy it from my local subie dealership.
