No way, the WRC cars don't have the air filter under the scoop, do they?? I think they'd suck in wayyy too much water on the wet stages....

But I don't know. Either way, that's pretty much amazing.

remotes on the coilovers would make sense for a WRC car... but i thought they intentially DONT over build them so if they have major failures or problems replacing is easier? wtf is this engine in?

That engine bay is very un-complex if you look at it. That is a WRC motor.

The redundant engine harness wiring blocks are there, its caged, has fireproofing on teh firewall, remote reservoir suspension....it's a WRC car.

and if you look at it, remote resivoir disconnects by 1 banjo bolt. they would simply replace the entire thing and reconnect the res.

the tomei/ jun time attack car had that air filter setup. I love it and think its a great idea. However, the tomei had a more extensive intake mani so i don't think its the same

The other WRC car pics I've seen have all those little wires and plugs as well. They had a reverse intake mani though. How old is this pic?

I think they ended up running some form of AC in later cars cause the drivers had a hard time dealing with 120+ degree cabin temps.

Err... do those reservoirs attached to the struts say "bose" on them? Can anyone ID that for me? I've heard of bose making a suspension based on gauss technology but I never heard of it leaving the prototype phase...
