My passenger side is higher than the driver? What could it be due to? My car is a stock 2008 wrx. I didnt notice this until after i had new tires put on. Brought it to White bear subaru and they said it looks fine but i could see that the passenger side is higher than the driver. Is there like a shop thats dedicated to suspension that could help in MN?
Double check to see if all four of the tires are the same size? Lay off the grass? Lol, i kid i kid. Maybe take a tape measure and take a measurement from the bottom of the fenders to the centercaps on your wheels on all four corners? Unless you have Lincoln airbags on your Subaru, it should just be an optical illusion.
I vote optical illusion. you should create a poll. On a serious note, could be shocks/struts going bad.
Got done measuring all 4 sides. Center of wheel to fender and the passenger side IS higher than driver by 3ish mm. Thses are just stock suspension so how did it get like this? i have not done any adjustments or anything. Where can i go to this check out? Still under warranty, only 37,000 mi on it.
3 mm did you stop to think that this is because 90% of the time theres one person on the other side and your springs are settling and for the record this is what 3mm looks like in real scaleish. VV no shop in there right mind will fix this warranty or not
You can see 3 millimeters? How did you measure? That's pretty precise... Lots of perfectly normal things could cause a 3 millimeter variance.
Sorry not 3 mm. 3 cm. u cant really tell if u dont look closly. Might bring it to minnetonka subaru and see what they say.
Thinking about it, I went up a curb outside sushi tango in uptown a couple months back. You think that. Ould cause it?
I am minnetonka subaru right now. Its in the service area getting checked right now. Hopefully they find whats wrong.
They said nothing was wrong. But they said it could be the top mount o the suspension. Still slanted.
they also found that both front struts are leaking so, gonna change those next week. I'll see if that will straighten up the car.
