Enginuity/RomRaider and ECUFlash are pretty much what you want to use.

    Yes, this is Mark.

You might want to keep in mind that since Tom (Wall o' TVs) used to own this car, unless it's been monkeyed with since, probably has a damn good tune job right now, and you probably don't want to muck with it until you start switching out stuff.

We should talk again about the exhaust & other stuff.

The car is in a completely different configuration from when I owned it. The only part that got transfered over was the inlet pipe.

w_o_t_boy retuned the car after it went back to stage 2.

the one thing i want to tune for right now is the atmospheric BOV. it has a stutter at intial startup.

i am pretty sure it is,

when the BOV is atmospheric and not recirculated into the intake, your maf is not seeing as much air so it is studdering. im pretty sure thats why. thats what i was told anyway.

Huh, I have a HKS fully atmospheric on my 02 with a stage 2 set-up. When I got the BOV I was told that there was no 'tuning' it.

While I'm sure it's possible to tune for it with the right management, my understanding is that the stock ECU (and hence any tuning that uses it) doesn't have the capabilities needed. I could well be wrong though.

What brand BOV? What you should do is get a stiffer spring if its staying open at idle or adjust it tighter.
