thought you guys might get a kick out of this. this was my morning project today. in the past we've used t25 and small t3 turbos for compounds on these saws but I have a vf39 sitting on the shelf so I just used that on this build. I ported and reclocked it, little cutting and welding and shes mounted up. its a concrete grooving saw that im currently building for this years highway construction season. should get the center for the s100 back tomorrow. it was so bad internally new bearings and seals wouldn't work, have to get a new center cartridge. couple more hours to run oil lines and mount the intercooler, piping, and muffler and she will be ready to run. Soooo just to be clear, you built a saw with two turbos...a twin turbo saw!? That. Is. Awesome.

A Diesel engine with compound (series) turbocharging?
    30# boost? (2, 2:1 compressor ratios).
    Diesel engines are different.

building, ya. its got a lot of parts to go. haha its actually getting a Paxton novi sl 1500 supercharger on it to but that will be driven by a hydraulic motor and used for the vacuum system.
yes is a deutz 1011f 2.7l diesel. factory its 71hp, modded its about 100hp. it will run about 25psi with the 2 turbos. hopefully I get parts next week to finish off engine stuff. it has lots of hydraulics to change, and the whole vacuum system to fab yet. ive been jumping back and forth between this, my rumble strip machine, and time in the office so everything takes too long. heres a pic with the muffler on it I fabbed up this afternoon IMG_20140131_153648_834.jpg

Well I was waiting on some parts that got shipped to the wrong address but I finally fabbed up the rest of the pipes and mounts for the intercooler and put it all together yesterday. here are a few more pics. O and the novi 1500sl supercharger that's going on it to, but that is for a vaccum blower, not the engine.
