i was actually gonna ask you if this spring you wanted to do a 3 car shoot with the impreza, bimmer, and lgt.
haha never ever going to get a wagon rabbit. i'm just not a wagon guy. thanks for the comps guys! i'm pumped to start mod'ing her and going through her to see if we can find any new parts to make for them.
looks like a great car. i cant wait to see what you do with it. i am predicting paint schemes on the l and lgt
the 5 eat is the 6mt of the auto subaru trans world, its indestructable, we have only had them in for jiffy lube **** ups
it might be indestructible, but it's still a wussy auto. Very nice looking car tho, I hope to get one in the future.
That's interesting to know. I raced my auto wrx against the rs & of course beat it but I would have thought going against a manual wrx I'd be at a disadvantage due to turbo lag...will have to try it out sometime! Justin the car looks great! Now both you & molly can come in your subies for the next ice race if we have one
trust me i would have gotten the manual is it was my dd but molly is going to dd it everyday and she wanted the auto...i knew the autos were dece so we got one.
Not to be a magazine racer, but thats not what reviews have said. It all depends on how quick you can shift. With my shift times, a metro transit bus would beat me in a drag, doesn't means its faster
Yeah, it makes sense to get the auto if that's what she wants. And or the record, I don't give a damn if the auto is faster in a straight line, it's still WAY less fun to drive. I'd rather be a second slower and have a manual any day of the week.
i would rather have the manual too. But none the less it is a very nice legacy! You can still have plenty of fun w/ a auto and fall asleep driving it in traffic. +1 for the car!
nope, this is true to life, we have done it for real, the auto takes the manual out of the hole and never looks back
ask Dipp for a ride in his atuo, this will change your mind forever on they way you look at an auto (atleast in a straight line), Its not possible to have a person shift faster then his auto...
As much as I love driving manual cars, if I got a Legacy GT, I'd grab an Auto If the Spec B, that'd be manual (of course, it's only manual)
How was it driven (and were they the same year, differences in final drive in some years)? Because with the typical magazine abuse, I'm seeing 5.6 and 14.3 for 0-60 and 1/4 (road and track -- this is one of the higher numbers I've seen) for the stick and 7 and and 15.5 (edmunds -- only one I could find) for the auto. (05 to 05) Yeah, different sources means hard to compare numbers, but over a second for both numbers is significant. Actually, i guess i don't give a crap. The manual in the LGT is a bit fo a PITA (vague with a weak clutch)
