http://www.skiffcraft.com/disco/utecweb/logs/04_19_05/two.htm morning. boost creep.. ! i have been hitting some insane boost lately.. after dialing it down a bit i logged a few runs yesterday evening. fuel cut is currently set to 19psi. i'm hitting 17 at partial throttle easy, at wot i hit fuel cut in 6th arround 4400 and i could probobly hit it in 5th as well. i'm going to take it down by another 20-25 points today, but i would like to ask for advice. i was thinking about bringing it down from 4k on to redline... also, i had a fairly odd knock. looking at the log i can't figure out why it happened. it's in an odd place. assistance requested.
Yeah, dialing back the boost map by anywhere from 20 to 40 points should be helpful. What is the status of the ABC (if you are even using it)...closed? Open? How far open? The knock I would assume came from a really large change in advance in a short period of time (31* to 20*)
hi zola, my abc is sitting in a box in my garage.. i probobly will install it for the 20g if needed.. with the utec i can set fuelcut up to iirc 30psi. i'm not too concerned about injector headroom more so about insane pressure... i really don't want to pop anything.. what would you suggest is a nice safe place to cut? also, i forgot to mention, i'm getting wastegate CHATTER up to about 12psi...
