I have had this problem for a while..... i cant get it to go away.... I check almost everything on NASIOC... except for a new PCV valve... Could a dying fuel pump or turbo be causing this problem?
If I remember correctly that is a lean code. Have you check for vacum leaks? Exhaust leaks? Or have you checked fuel pressure? I would probably put money on a vacum leak.
DTC P0171 - FUEL TRIM MALFUNCTION (A/F TOO LEAN) DTC DETECTING CONDITION Two consecutive driving cycles with fault TROUBLE SYMPTOM Erroneous idling Engine stalls. Poor driving performance CAUTION: After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode.
mods?? I have seen it when people install intakes on their cars. Once you max out your fuel trims, the code will pop up. Russ
No intake or E85.... just a turbo back ehaust with stage two flash... it did it when it was stock too.... now it hesitates really bad at like 4500 rpms
Probably trouble symptom #3 in this case.... Just playing. Did you find where to put that PITA vacuum line that is underneath your intake manifold yet? Don't forget that that hose is still open.
sorry it did have the diag charts attached originally but when I closed down alldata the pics stopped working...
