I was just wondering if anyone has seen this code its for a knock sensor 1 Circuit malfunction.. it showed up last week and so i cleared it and waiting to see if it comes back, i just thought i see if anyone else here has gotten it and what they did with it??? the car has gotten 184*** miles on it so it just might getting up there..
I just had the code. It came on and off for about a month. I just changed the sensor last night and the CEL is off and the car runs a lot better.
was it running alittle ruff?? where did you get the sensor??? and how much do you remember,,,pretty easy fix
yeah it idled/started really rough and had poor throttle response. I just picked the sensor up from BP subaru yesterday. it was around $85 for mine. May be different depending on what car it is. It was actually a little tricky fix. On my RS the sensor was behind the intake manifold underneath the throttle body. It was a tight squeeze. Took me about 20 mins to change
I have an extra sensor laying around if you want it...I'd give it to ya for $70. It's brand new, never been installed. LMK...
