So I replaced the sensor for the tgv on the driver's side with a new tps and cleared the code. Drove home from work and no code. Start it up the next morning and drive to work. Code comes back half way to work. Tried to clear the code after work today and it won't clear. Reset by removing the battery cables and holding them together for 30 sec. But then code came right back. Could I have got a bad sensor? I installed new sensor properly. Looking for opinions.
Did you buy a used one? Could definitely be a bad sensor or bad connection. Make sure it's plugged in all the way and check the wires for damage
