Anyone know how to do this.......or a place where I can take my rims for this.

I have the OZ Prodrive P1. Great rim, but the finish sucks big time. It looks faded, old, and dull. I want to repaint / refinish the luster.

you can do it yourself if you have the time. Jason im sure could do it for you, im sure he would charge its not the easiest job to do, or the safest since you have to use strong ass aircraft stripper. I did mine last winter, i just did the lips, and that was a process.

Actually, if you are just refinishing them, it isn't hard to do. But if you want some crazy paint scheme done to them, then yes, I'll probably charge you an arm and a leg.

My anthracite Prodrive P1s are really faded too. It's like the clear coat got eaten away. They are 4 years old now though and the previous owner drove with them in the winter. My plan is to use wax and grease remover on the wheels to prep them and then respray clear over the top to get the shine back. I am going to do this over stripping them completely because I like the OZ Racing text on the rim and I don't want to eff up the color.

I just have to decide if its worth dismounting the tires for $60 or if I should just tape off the tires.

    dude zombie,

let me know how that works out for you........if you get good results, I may go that route in the Spring.

I love the P1, but the finish sucks BIG time.....need some bling to them.

wussup Jason..........you're a jack of all trades huh.

I don't need to repaint the rims or anything. I just want the "new look" shine again. Can you achieve that by refinishing..........and what's involve...........
