PART OUT: 1996 subaru impreza with turbo kit and EJ255 longblock

Well after a year and a half of boost my little 1.8 finally went out with a BOOM! There is a hole in the top of the block about 6 inches round. Im done with the car and need it out of the driveway. It is a 1996 impreza 2dr green i.8l 5-speed 210,000 miles, it has some rust, dents scratches and cracked parts, nothing near perfect. I just broke a shift rod while i was changing a part of the shift linkage and had the tranny apart to replace it. Everything looks great and shifts good when running half syncromesh in the tranny. THere is a turbo kit that i built on there running a modified td-04 (off a 03 wrx). I was running 21lbs of boost for 6 months with no problems. There is a small exhaust leak in the header that can easily be welded up.

I would like to sell the turbo kit complete since its all designed to be together. If you are not mechanically inclined do not purchase! I had it working for quite awhile and worked out pretty much all the bugs but it still isnt perfect. You will have to know what you are doing to trouble shoot and tune. I have a 2009 WRX longblock EJ255 300mi-
- complete with everything under the timing covers including gears, idlers, pumps, belts and all sensors that come on heads. The block had rod knock and was warranty replaced at 300 miles. I picked it up from subaru, sent the crank to crankshaft supply and they polished it up and gave me new ACL bearings. The block is put back together with new bearings and the pistons are not installed yet (was going to put in a set of forged pistons). I have everything that came with the motor and tons of new gaskets including new headgaskets. I am willing to sell the heads and block separate or together. The heads are not on the block yet but everything is there.

EJ255 heads- $1500

How much for the shell with no motor and tranny

 

Well i cant seem to figure out how to edit my post so ill post some pics and prices here.

Car as is with engine and tranny: $800 obo
Car with turbo kit as it sits now: $1500 obo
turbo kit with electronics: $1000







I need this car out of the driveway. I dont have a way to take out the engine or tranny because my garage is at the top of a hill and the car is at the bottom. I dont feel like doing it i the snow or cold for that matter.

I may be interested in the hood, starter, front axle, and front calipers.

hows the clutch on the 5 speed tranny?

Will this work on my 98 Legacy?

 

The clutch is a stage 1 f1 racing clutch, it was starting to slip a little at high boost when its cold out.

The Emanage is a piggyback that can be wired into pretty much any car. It will work but its kind of useless unless you have boost.

 

I've been out of the loop a while... Would the exhaust parts, Up-dp-"custom exhaust" fit and work well on a wrx? I know subies are like Legos, but don't remember if this would all mount right up. Thanks!

does the downpipe hook up to a wrx/sti exhaust? or would i need to make a custom one.
