Parting out a 04 STi

    I bought a 04 STi for the drivetrain so here are the unneeded items

    The engine, gearbox, DCCD, wire harness, ecu, water sprayer, wheels, and seats are going to be kept. The rest is up for grabs.
    40k miles on the clock

    Interior
    Spedo cluster $350
    Steering wheel Air bag blown $100
    Wiper arm stock $40
    head light stock $40
    "A-B-C" Pillers $25 each cheaper if you buy multiple
    Front Door cards $150
    Right Rear Door card $75
    Upper Dash $50
    Center shifter Trim with the STi trim $50
    Clock $25
    Make an offer on any other interior part

    Drivetrain
    Rear diff, axles, subframe, driveshaft, hubs, Brembo calipers, and rotors $1750
    Front Brembos with Rotors $800
    Brake booster and Master Cylinder $200
    ABS Assy. $200
    Invidia V2 Downpipe $200

    Exterior
    Right Rear Door a fair bit of scratches, $150
    Side skirts, few scratches on the left side B.O.

    saw that one on MNSC, car load of people only one guy broke his arm.

    yep, kid was from foley- poor car, hit a tree and rolled 3-4 times :(

    Speedemon- the seats are being kept, but all other parts are avaiable
    Dream- I got a PM from Pete
    Brian Shorten- it WAS a standard mirror but thats lost

    Yea the old owner is a good friend of mine, its a bummer that he did this.

    is there a turbo in that thing the up pipe, down pipe, intercooler.....

    ^ FMIC is toast. DP has been called dibs on.

    also if your looking to turbo your car the VF39 (stock STi turbo?) might be alittle too mig for ya. i am not exactly sure, but its worth looking into.

    i think the vf39 would be a good turbo. the key is to get as much power as possible with the least amount of boost. with a bigger turbo, it'll create more power at say 8psi compared to a smaller turbo. with the higher compression of the n/a....no lag...=D

    Are you going to keep the brake/clutch pedal assembly and the clutch master cylinder?

    is the OE STi axleback available?

    (sorry, whats the diameter on an STi axleback anyway? 3" 2.5"? and would it bolt up to a WRX resonator pipe? total STi n00b here :ugh:)

    the Turbo, up-pipe are being kept
    I will be using all the pedals
    It had a dc sports catback... which is now destroyed
    the spare tire is going to be kept
    the axles are also going to be kept

    Mike do you have the ECU out of that? Stock unit? I don't want it but i would like to take some pictures and look at the chips. Do you mind? I will be bringing my car to you guys Tuesday so I could look at it then.
