I have some parts left over after the sale of my rally car. I have a complete rear brake upgrade that is a bolt on for all GD and GC-8 cars except STi. I can install these parts for you at a significant additional cost. I would prefer if you did the install. I want 500.00 for the rear upgrade kit minus pads. Asking 150.00 for the front pads and 100.00 for the rear. All parts are used except where noted. 1. One pair rear calipers one side never been installed. 2. Four rear rotors 3. One pair rear knuckles with backing plates for two pot gravel. 4. Multiple unused front and rear caliper rebuild seals and grease. 5. Three rear brake pad retaining pins. 6. One rear brake pad retaining pin clip. 7. Full set stainless steel wear shims for rear calipers. 8. Two rear pad anti-rattle spring. 9. One set front and rear brand new DS3000 brake pads
Yes they are. The brake parts can fit any GC or GD car with a 160 rear diff. The trans/rear end is a bolt in on any current 5 speed suby with an 8 bolt bell housing.
Jason????? Someone named Jason e-mailed me about brake parts. Your reply to address has bounced twice. Please recontact me with a corrected or alternate e-mail address. BTW, they are 4 pot front and two pot rear.
hey mark, Do yo have any used but still in decent condition rally tires you could sell me on the cheap?
I do, I just have not removed it from the ice race car yet. I have not forgotten about you I just need to wait until after rally season to start on the ice race car. Mark
I can't tell you that as it varies greatly on multiple variables. What I can tell you is we have not had any failures with the gearset. We had a shift rail get worn so we replaced all the rails and installed steel shift forks. It is a sweet unit if you are prepared to deal with a dog dox.
Mark, Do you have a full set of brakes from a wrx that I could use on my sti so I could put 16 inch rims on for ice racing?
I have a full set of 4 pot front/two pot rear of the gravel brakes (not US STi). I do not know if there would be any additional parts or work required to install them on your STi.
I'm not sure to ask this here, but what the hell, I am looking for some brakes for my RS and want to upgrade from stock. I don't need tons of extra stuff or anything, but rather just some four pots and decent rears. Do you have any left over you can sell or any recommendations as to where I can pick them up? Thanks Mark and hopefully we can hang out a little bit at lspr
I do have a full set to do an upgrade. As I posted at the top of the thread, I am asking 1200.00 for a four wheel kit. That includes four pot front and two pot rear. Let me know if you want them.
Will these fit my stock RS rims? I'm assuming so because you had been running them on 15's for the rally car. I'm going to think about it and I will try to get back to you within a few days. Thanks!
If you have the 01, six spoke wheels, they will fit. These are the wheels with the very narrow spokes right? These brakes will not fit under most factory wheels due to spoke clearance issues but the do fit the six spoke wheels.
hey mark, not sure if you are still watching this thread, but do you still have the rear calipers. if you do can you tell me what you want for them. I would like both calipers, rotors, lines, pads and anything else that goes with the rear brake upgrade. again this is just for the rear. also want brand are they?
Rear brakes I am asking 500.00 for a complete rear brake upgrade. They are all Subaru parts except the pads which are Ferodo DS3000 full race pads. When installing this kit, the recommended procedure is to replace the rear bearings as you need to press them apart and Subaru feels once you do this, the bearings are not to be reused. I can help by doing the press work but you will need to bring the rear uprights to me, off the car. I can either use the old bearings or install new ones for you. Your choice with no guarantees either way.
Four wheel brake upgrade is sold. I still have a complete rear brake upgrade set. Original post edited to reflect what is remaining.
