Moving and baby on the way means were having a fire...sale. Selling as a lot, mostly 2nd Gen stuff, but other parts from a planned high compression build that never materialized. Want to sell as a lot, or buy my '98 Legacy GT sedan I'll post tomorrow and I'll throw it all in as a package. 2nd Gen: non-branded rear strut tower brace (for wagon, but will fit sedan with a little massaging) Cusco front strut tower brace Fender flairs repopped by Ruslan Sibby Duckbill spoiler repopped by Ruslan as well JDM fogs and brackets Miscellaneous bushings and suspension bits Other parts: 5mt core 2.5 block (I think 01) '96 2.2 heads Second Gen WRX light blue 440 cc injectors Second Gen WRX front brace Second Gen WRX (I think) rad shroud Second Gen WRX rear window spoiler Second Gen WRX front calipers, pads and rebuild kits Forged crank and rods from an unknown year STI Pistons from same unknown STI Three rough snowflake wheels I'll add to the list if I find more as I clean Wanna buy it all? Please do, $600, or buy my Second Gen for $3,200 (getting listed 10/21) and get these parts for free! I'm not desperate enough to sell parts individually, yet.
I have a 2006 wagon (Saabaru) looking for braces, bars, stuff stuff. 02-07 will likely have same fit?
GD 02-07 stuff should all be pretty much the same. With exception from sedan to wagon obviously. But some of that may fit too
I'm oggling that chassis brace. The installation looks straightforward. Does the plastic undercarriage tray have to go away? Does anyone have one on and can weigh in on post-installation ride difference/feel?
I had one on my 05 OBS, yes the plastic undertray comes off unless you want to carefully section the tray to allow this to bolt on over and take it off each time. It really tied the front end together on my OBS, I also had swaybars but it noticeably made it more gokart like turning and cornering
If you end up getting the pink one and don't want one that's so "loud", I'd gladly trade you my silver one if you're interested. I have it on the blue car but I think I put it on there before I really drove the car that much, so can't give a good before/after review. Super easy install, tho. 4 bolts out, 4 bolts back in.
The buyer of the 2nd Gen didn't take everything, so there are a few items left: 01 2.5 engine - intake and accessories are pulled off - Free 5 speed trans - core or rebuild - Free '96 sohc heads - make offer GD chassis brace - make offer GD rad cover - make offer I really just want to get rid of this stuff so I don't have to move it. No unreasonable offer refused. If no takers on the motor or the trans I will likely just scrap them Friday. I can help load, but not deliver. All located in Robbinsdale.
