I'm looking for a good Subie specific parts supplier/tuner and was wondering if anyone here knew of a few. I already know of all the good spots to get VW/Audi stuff but need a few Subie sources. Thanks guys!

OEM parts or aftermarket? I'd browse the Vendors forum on NASIOC, that'll give you a primer to the big names. I've had excellent customer service from Oakos Automotive (Michigan) and Nino's Auto Accessories (New Jersey).

    http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=58 (Vendors forum on NASIOC)

Just browse in there (people's reviews of vendors, ease of transaction, customer service, etc) and in the Vendor For Sale classifieds...there are way too many vendors to list. The only one I would recommend avoiding is Vivid Racing--not from experience, but from a multitude of complaints.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for. I know I have had good luck with both of the places Joel has posted about, and have had some other bad experiences from other places (z1 performance and vivid racing), but with so many other dealers out there you should figure out what you want and search them all for the best deals.

Ben - I'll bet if we go back far enough we're related somewhere. :p

But yeah - I'm looking mainly for Legacy parts. Right now I'm in the hunt for brake replacement parts. Mine, especially the rears are getting shot. I'm also looking for a place that is selling Mintex pads for the Legacy. I've got some Mintex Redbox pads on my A4 right now and they're great out on the street IMO and want them on all the cars.

    -Love the RedBox goodness.

If you want to get some cryo'd and slotted (or drilled) rotors, let me know. I know the guys at Frozen rotors, and I am tring to get a mnsubaru discount going.

Cyro rotors would be a little overkill on the Legacy. My sister is the one who drives it the most often. I'm the one responsible for the upkeep and occasional flogging. Cryo rotors will have to wait for the future Impreza. :)

Well, cryo rotors might be over kill, but you would probably never buy another set as long as the car lives.:D

I am definitly going to do some group buys for brake parts this spring. I figured that I will start giving some heads up post for everyone to start saving thier pennies so we can do this.
