Well, the next new project has begun at Trafik Jamz. We are now working with a friend of ours on creating a bad ass party bus! (1984 MCI 40' Charter Bus) Goals for this bus are to be LOUD and CLEAN sounding. We are using 6360 watts (RMS) of total power. 4000 Watts (provided by 2 AX2000 amplifiers from USAmps) will be dedicated to four 15" RE Audio SX15's in a transmission line box, an addition 2000 watts will be provided by AX-TU1000C tube amplifiers (again USAmps) for the utmost sound quality possibilities and will be feed 8 PAIRS of RE Audio XXX 6.5 Midbass/Midrange drivers. The final amp in the puzzle is a USAmps AX-TU4360 tube amplifier which will be powering 8 pairs of RE Audio XXX Tweeters. For those keeping track at home, that is a grand total of 6360 watts of power going to a total 36 speakers!! On top of that, plans are to incorporate 2 22" LCD Monitors near the front of the bus and a single 32" to 46" LCD TV in the rear. Of course there are more details that will come forth as the build progresses. I will try and post pics on here as we make progress on this build. It should be unlike any party bus in the FM area and possibly well beyond. Sorry for the lack of pictures in the opening thread....right now we are still assessing some of the goals/designs but you can rest assured that as progress takes place, I will do my best to keep it up to date. Still waiting on the DVD player, source selector, DTV mobile Dish & Receivers, 2 27" Monitors, 1 37" monitor, black lighting, laminate flooring, tint to be completed, exterior underglow (yes, that is ricey...don't care, not trying to race the bus, just make it fun to be in), and fog machines.

couple update pics...not much exciting stuff, just building the couches/tables when we have the time to do so. There is a LOT more bracing that will be happening to make this thing strong enough to support a bunch of drunk people.
Once we get done, we'll have to make a few trips down to the cities....pulling the cars behind the bus...
There will be two of them actually....one towards the front of the bus and the other towards the rear.
we have a LOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGGG ways to go yet. Hoping to have it done for CES (original plans were for SEMA, but that ain't happening) in Vegas. Should be a good time....drunk all the way there, drunk all the while there, sleep all the way back...
