    :( :( :( :(

For those of you who didn't know, Paul Newman was just as big a figure in the auto racing community as he was in the acting community. One of my absolute heroes, he managed to take his stardom and put it towards worthy causes. Here's the CNN article:

    http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Movies/09/27/paul.newman.dead/index.html

Random fact: He was the only American driver to have a version of the Nissan Skyline named for him.

    RIP Mr Newman

Raise a glass to the man. Steve McQueen and Paul Newman were amongst the coolest guys in acting and racing in my youth. No man can eat 50 eggs.

Don't forget his part in Slapshot (and not the sequel).
