People you've put in their place (seat)

My coworkers aren't deeply into the import scene and I took them out to lunch today. Of course, they asked me to step on it because they know I'm into my car for the power. When the road was clear, I stepped on it in 2nd gear and they almost @#$%!@#$%!@#$%!@#$%! themselves! To me, it felt good, but to them they said it made them feel all wierd and one of them jumped off of his seat holding onto the "oh @#$%!@#$%!@#$%!@#$%!" handle bar. They couldn't stop talking positive things about my family-hauler all lunch! hehehe!

Anyone else have a similar story to share?

i had that.....my cousin from wausau came to town..they were in my car and wanted to feel power....so i launched the car from a standing start up to end of 2nd gear....all they could say was, damn it's fast! even faster than their friend's VR-4 and turbo integra GSR....

 

Fong, I plan on putting you back on my seat soon...and holding on to dear life...haha

 

Herc, no... one of my co-workers is not into cars and the other one just likes cars in general. They're not haters at all. They were just curious. It was a pleasure to show them what some cars can do out on the street.

I got put in my palce on the back of my dads Hyabusa lol we were at a stop light and iw as on the back of it and this little buick took off and i said "dad speed up a little, your being beaten by a buick" without a word a little twist of the ol' throttle and i could reach up and feel my dads organs lol Crazy acceleration on those things lol

when i had my ver 5 replica, the yellow one of esperunits now.... me and a buddy were driving around when i first got it, and a 3000 gt twin turbo was hot after me. thought he was gonna take me out on the highway till i stepped on the gas and we were gone, he got up next to me and his g/f couldnt belive it... my buddy still talks about that as he hasnt seen anything like it before.

 

Over the weekend I was following my buddy in his '04 S4. He just got a new exhaust for it and some ECU reflash thingy that advertised 40-50 additional hp (which should put him close to 400). We were down in Burnsville and he calls me on my cell phone and says he wants to race me (in my stock 03 WRX wagon). So, I say sure and he turns down some road he says doesn't have much traffic but several stoplights. Long story short, the first run up to about 70mph was dead even and I beat him the second time after launching really hard (and smelling bad smells). He was kind of pissed and I don't blame him after spending all that money. Of course, the S4 is still a nicer car and that exhaust is one of the nicest sounding exhausts I've heard on any car.

WTH is up with the WRX being faster than the S4?

 

That as a great effort on your part considering the high gas prices, I'm sure now your co-workers will have a new appreciation and you may have also earned a new nickname. Anyways, imagine if your grocery getting could not only go fast on the straight, but corner as well, imagine if you would of taken them on a nice clover leaf onramp rampage. Well, than I think you would need to clean your seats. LOL

anyways the only people i impress with my cars ultimate superior acceloration, is erik! he's always like oh crap sunnn! its so fast in your car after 3k rpms, which is just shy of a honda by like 10k rpms!
