Lake Riley Park, parking lot. Plenty of space for all of the Subies, grilling area, beach, recreation area, playground items for the Members w/ rugrats, and... Fishing. There are grills already mounted into the ground for people to use, just need to get em early, or someone can bring a charcoal grill too. The little pavilion is for renting, but if no one is using it, FFA. Does that sound feasible? Discuss plz.
Yeah, thats true, but this is just a rough draft idea type thing, at the moment. See what the response would be like, and see if it can get going for some weekend.
Hrm. Sounds like a great idea, but depending on size, I would highly suggest Lake Calhoun. It's busier, and parking is sometimes a PITA, but the view is usually much better, especially around the Volleyball courts...

Haaa, after I got done with work I went to wash my car, cleaned the rims, put some shine on my new tires, and then why not go take some pics of the park? Yeah, kinda bored.
next spring 2009 my backyard will be perfect... even told the wife that the field down the back.. about 3 acres will be having an rally-cross on it one day...ha ha just need some cones.. paging MLLLLLLLLLLgez

^^^ That would be sweet to see, rock on TSTRBOY2004. ---------------------------------------------------------- Lake Riley is an easy place to find, 494west, to Hwy 5, South on Hwy 4 (Eden Prairie Rd), West on Pioneer Trail, take Lake Riley Rd, and your there, just look for the park entrances. Here is a Google Earth satellite link. This would be a sweet place for everyone to eat some grub, chill, converse and check out the sweet rides.
